BASEBALL icon Derek Jeter’s first car was a Datsun 310 with three broken door handles.
The New York Yankees legend has since assembled an insane $4 million car collection, which includes a Bugatti, Aston Martin, and an exclusive Ferrari Enzo.

“The only [handle] that worked was the driver’s side passenger door,” he told Barron’s.
Here is a look at Jeter’s epic fleet of cars.
MITSUBISHI 3000
The first car Jeter bought after being signed by the Yankees at age 18 was a sporty red Mitsubishi 3000GT.
However, when the rising baseball star went car shopping with his friends, the salesman told Jeter that he could not afford it.
The car was on the market for $26,000.
“We all kind of looked at each other,” former teammate Chris Heaps recalled.
“He obviously didn’t know who Derek Jeter was.”
JEEP GRAND WAGONEER
In 2022, Jeter and his wife Hannah signed a multi-year deal to promote the Jeep Grand Wagoneer.
The full-size, three-row luxury SUV costs around $110,000.

“We wouldn’t be doing this partnership if we weren’t actually using the car,” Jeter told Barron’s.
“Because I couldn’t sit here claiming I love some two-seater sports car. It wouldn’t be right.
“My life now is that we have a 5-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 10-month-old, and they’re in the back with their baby gear, toys, and strollers.
“This type of vehicle is perfect for us.”
MERCEDES-MAYBACH 62
Jeter was often spotted driving his Mercedes during Yankees’ spring training in Tampa, Florida.
Costing around $500,000, it was the ultimate luxury sedan in the 2000s.
The car, designed to be driven by chauffeurs, is stretched to maximize comfort in the rear.
Features in the back seats include an intercom, electric curtains, a panoramic sunroof, foot rests, tables, and TVs.
FERRARI ENZO
By far the most exclusive car in Jeter’s garage, with just 498 units made.
The car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, with a top speed of 218 mph.

The Enzo was named after Ferrari’s founder – Enzo Ferrari.
BUGATTI VEYRON
The Bugatti Veyron was the world’s fastest production car when it launched with a top speed of 253 mph.
It is named after Pierre Veyron, a Bugatti test driver and race driver.

The luxury car retails for around $1.7 million.
ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM
The Rolls-Royce Phantom is the ultimate status symbol, combining luxury with technology.
Costing around $460,000, it has a 6.8-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that goes from 0-60mph in 5.1 seconds.
It has a top speed of 155 mph but is designed more for luxury driving than speed.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom comes with power-adjustable seats with massage, a sofa-like rear seat, and a refrigerated console compartment.
