VIDEO evidence has shown that an umpire was wrong for ejecting New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone.

TV cameras showed that a fan was the reason for Boone’s ejection during the Yankees‘ 2-0 loss to the Oakland Athletics on Monday afternoon.

During the top of the first inning, the YES Network cameras caught Boone taking issue with the umpires awarding Athletics lead-off hitter Esteury Ruiz a hit by pitch walk.

Boone yelled at MLB home plate umpire Hunter Wendelstedt over the ruling.

The manager’s rage continued after Wendelstedt called a clear ball off the plate for a strike.

That caused Wendelstadt to snap at Boone, “Guess what? You’re not yelling at me, I did what I’m supposed to do,” “I’m not looking for him to get hit by the pitch … got anything else to say, you’re gone.”

The cameras pointed to Boone, who didn’t say a word.

But Wendelstedt heard remarks coming from Boone’s direction and ejected the manager.

Boone quickly got out of the dugout and explained to Wendelstedt that he didn’t say anything to him.

He even pointed to the crowd as it appeared the veteran blamed a fan for the ejection.

The YES Network got to the bottom of the situation and found the culprit of the matter.

The fan who made the remarks was wearing a blue shirt and seated in the first row behind the dugout.

“So the fan in the blue shirt is the one who says something to Hunter Wendelstedt — that’s what he reacts to, and he kicks out Aaron Boone, who says, ‘Whoa! I didn’t say anything!'” play-by-play announcer Ryan Ruocco told TV viewers while replaying the ordeal.

During the replay, Wendelstedt could also be heard telling Boone, “I don’t care who said it, you’re gone.”

More replays showed the man in the blue top shouting at Wendelstedt which caused the ejection.

After the bottom of the first inning, the fan took off his blue attire but kept on his Yankees hat.

It was Boone’s second ejection of the season as bench coach Brad Ausmus took over the managerial duties for the rest of the game.

The Yankees went on to lose the ball game to the Athletics.

Boone has been the Yankees manager since 2018.

He has a managerial career record of 524-368.

The 51-year-old has yet to win a World Series despite making the playoffs four times in six complete seasons.
