JUAN Soto has dropped a major update about his future in an Instagram video.
While MLB fans are desperate for an update on where the superstar will sign this offseason, he is having some fun toying with their emotions.
Juan Soto made a major announcement about his career on Tuesday[/caption] Soto is a free agent and is seeking a massive contract this offseason[/caption]Soto took to Instagram on Tuesday to post an announcement that he made a signing.
“The announcement you’ve been waiting for,” he captioned the post.
While the post may have caused some fans’ hearts to drop, they would quickly find out that Soto was announcing a new sponsorship in the cruelest way possible.
“This wasn’t an easy decision,” Soto said in the announcement.
“But after meeting with the team, it became clear what I wanted to be.
“That being said… team Celsius!”
Soto announced his sponsorship with the energy drink brand Celsius, and he knew that fans would be irked with his video.
“What? You were expecting a different announcement?” he said with a smirk.
MLB fans got a good kick out of the video, but many took to his comments to share how stressed out it made them.
“Oh so you’re a comedian now,” one fan said.
“Nah this is crazy LOL,” another fan said.
“My therapist will definitely be aware of this,” a third fan said.
“I got way too excited,” a fourth fan said.
“I fell to my knees,” a fifth fan said.
Soto is one of the hottest commodities on the free agent market in recent history, and he is expected to get a massive contract.
