LOS Angeles has descended into chaos following Wednesday night’s Dodgers’ World Series victory.

The Dodgers beat the New York Yankees 7-6 on Wednesday night in Game 5, leading fans to take to the streets.
The Los Angeles Police Department reported on Thursday morning that 12 arrests were made in the violent celebrations.
Six people were arrested for commercial burglary, four for receiving stolen property, and two for failure to disperse, LAPD said.
“Several dispersal orders have been given,” LAPD Central Division wrote on X during the chaos.
“Several businesses have been looted. It was requested to celebrate responsibly.”
The LAPD shared footage of looters in clown masks running in and out of a boarded-up shoe store about four miles from Dodger Stadium just after 11 pm.
The criminals were seen running out of the business with Nike merchandise and throwing shoes onto parked cars outside the store.
Closer to the stadium in the Echo Park neighborhood, one nearly-naked fan covered in blue paint painted the sidewalks with paint in chaotic footage as cops moved in.
Another was seen dancing on top of a bus while nearby rioters set off fireworks.
The LAPD also reported a “hostile crowd” lit an MTA bus on fire at around 12:35 am about a mile from the stadium.
Cops responded about 10 minutes later and stopped the fire from spreading.
Photos of the aftermath show a completely burned-out bus, with just the frame remaining and covered in extinguisher spray.
A video shared on social media shows fans shooting off fireworks inside the bus as others cheer and celebrate.
A police scanner reported fans throwing rocks and bottles at officers at around 2:30 am.
The LAPD shared on X, “Various projectiles are being thrown at LAPD Officers in the area of Olympic & Grand.”
Officers asked onlookers to leave the area immediately and follow police orders.
Following the Dodgers’ victory, Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass warned that violent celebrations wouldn’t be tolerated.
“As we celebrate this achievement tonight and in the coming days, violence will not be tolerated,” Bass said in a statement.
“LAPD is currently on tactical alert and has activated a strategic plan to protect communities and businesses, which includes proactive deployment and a coordinated strategy with regional partners to ensure that all Angelenos are able to celebrate safely.”
The city has two opportunities for fans to celebrate on Friday – a ticketed event at Dodger Stadium and a Downtown parade.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to LAPD for comment.
