THE Los Angeles Dodgers’ commanding 3-0 World Series lead has led to ticket prices decreasing mightily for a New York Yankees elimination game.
The price of a ticket to Tuesday night’s Game 4 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York has dropped considerably.

The company shared that the lowest listing price for Tuesday’s game is $749, compared to the $1,583 price a week ago.
If the Yankees force a Game 5, Gametime will charge fans $836 per ticket, which is still close to $1,000 less than the original listing price.
However, the Bronx Bombers’ disappointing play hasn’t affected the best seats in the building.
The most desirable spots are still worth more than $20,000 per seat.
GameTime isn’t the only ticket ticket exchange company that has seen ticket prices plummet for Game 4.
On StubHub, fans can purchase tickets for as low as $498 (not including fees) a pop.
On VividSeats, general admission passes have dropped to $453 before fees.
By comparison, the cheapest ticket for last Friday’s Game 1 at Dodger Stadium exceeded $1,200.
And the prices for the games at Yankee Stadium were 40 percent higher.
But the Yankees lost the first two games of the series and were defeated in Game 3 by a score of 4-2.
They scored the two runs in the bottom ninth inning thanks to an Alex Verdugo two-run home run with two outs.
The Yankees are down 3-0 and have gotten very little from superstar Aaron Judge, who has struck out in seven of his 13 World Series at-bats.
The 2024 AL MVP favorite is hitting .140 with 20 strikeouts in 54 plate appearances this postseason.

Luis Gil will get the start in Game 4 for the Yankees.
The Dodgers will trot out Brent Honeywell as it will likely be a bullpen game for the squad.
He has just a little over seven innings pitched in two starts in this year’s playoffs.
The Dodgers are one win away from winning the World Series.
Game 4 begins on Tuesday at 8:08 pm Eastern.
